Manufacturers Warranty
Important notes before reading the following:
- The advantages under this guarantee are notwithstanding other legitimate privileges and cures you might have corresponding to Poolrite Products
- Please read these agreements cautiously, as the inability to consent might influence your lawful freedoms under this guarantee; and
- Please read any operation instructions carefully before commencing the use of any product manufactured by Poolrite.
WHAT DOES THE POOLRITE WARRANTY GUARANTEE COVER?
If a defect happens in any Poolrite product during our guarantee period, Poolrite will be reliant on its judgment, repair the product, and or replace the defect, for no expense given that the deformity results exclusively from unfortunate workmanship or materials and are dependent upon these agreements.
Labour is covered by this warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase or installation, within a 75 km radius of an authorized Service Department.
Warranties are valid only within the original country of purchase.
POOLRITE WARRANTY GUARANTEE PERIOD
All Products sold by Poolrite are covered by a one-year warranty guarantee. The exemptions for this are the products recorded in the table below (which likewise determines limitations and enhancements). All guarantee periods start on the date of purchase by the end-user.
The arrangements of this guarantee are not adaptable and are notwithstanding and not in charge of or deduction from any relevant legal guarantees, freedoms, or cures.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE POOLRITE WARRANTY GUARANTEE
This warranty only applies where:
- Any of the products requiring installation have been sold with installation included and have been installed by a licensed plumber, electrician, or person who has completed an accredited course in swimming pool care and maintenance or a person with more than 12 months on the job learning or a person supervised by one of these people, in accordance with any written installation instructions provided.
- The products have been installed and operated in accordance with written instructions supplied by Poolrite;
- The purchaser is able to provide proof of purchase that specifies the date of purchase and product purchased;
- The product has been serviced or maintained regularly. (at least once a month).
- Any pump using an electric motor has:
- Been adequately ventilated to avoid overheating;
- Not been run on an electrical extension cord;
- Been installed in an area that is free from flooding or excessive outside contact with water;
- Any pump has not been permitted to run dry (this causes excessive non-reversible damage to both the pump and motor);
- Any pool and spa equipment that has been used in water:
- With a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius;
- With a pH range maintained between 7.2 – 7.6;
- That has been regularly treated with a sanitizing system
- Pressure gauges have not been damaged in use and due care has been exercised to ensure they can be monitored at all times;
- Electrical equipment has been adequately protected from environmental damages; and
- Any pump used on a filter does not have a shut-off head that exceeds the pressure rating of the filter installed.
All repairs and replacements shall be carried out by Poolrite or an authorized Service Department unless otherwise authorized.
If an authorized Service Department is not available within 75 km of the purchaser’s area:
- The purchaser is responsible for any freight or infield labour costs.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE POOLRITE WARRANTY GUARANTEE
This warranty does not cover, and Poolrite will not be responsible for, any defect or damage caused or contributed to by;
(a) Installation or utilization of the Product other than as per Poolrite’s composed directions, any legal necessities, and these agreements;
(b) use of the product for a purpose other than for which it was designed or sold;
(c) normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, corrosion, internal and external;
(d) any repairs or modifications whatsoever carried out by any person, other than a Poolrite authorised Personal;
(e) exposure to water not caused by a defect in the product, and any water ingress will not be covered by the warranty.
(f) transit of the product over which Poolrite has no control.
(g) inadequate ventilation
(h) free-flowing cement, pebbles, render, or other pool surface finishes
(i) insect and/or vermin infestation
SERVICE YOUR EQUIPMENT & TEST YOUR WATER REGULARLY
For a safe and sparkling clean pool, it is important to service your equipment regularly and test the pool water consistently. The chemical balance of the water is a relationship between total alkalinity, pH, Calcium hardness, sanitiser, and temperature. Poolrite recommends that you have your equipment serviced and water tested regularly. A record of services and testing should always be kept for reference.
SUMMARY OF THE POOLRITE WARRANTY GUARANTEE LIMITATIONS
The provisions of this warranty are not transferable from the original purchaser and are in addition to and not in modification of or subtraction from any applicable statutory warranties, rights, or remedies.
Labour is covered by this warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase or installation, within a 75 km radius of an authorised Service Department.
Spare parts used in the repair of products are covered by a 12-month warranty and are not covered by the original warranty from the date of purchase or installation.
Products no longer manufactured are held to original warranty periods as specified in the authentic documentation
